CREDENTIAL/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
For California-Based Educators:
Possess (or will possess by July 2024) a valid California Preliminary or Clear Multiple Subject* or Single Subject credential in Foundational Math or Mathematics, OR
Eligible for a California Single Subject Intern credential in Foundational Math or Mathematics (candidate must earn an Intern credential by July 2024), OR
Eligible for a Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP) or Provisional Internship Permit (PIP)
*Notes for Multiple Subject Credential Holders:
> If you hold a Preliminary or Clear Multiple Subject credential, you will also need a minimum of 12 post-secondary semester units in Mathematics and will only be eligible for Math positions in our middle schools
> Unfortunately, we are unable to hire teachers with a Multiple Subject Intern credential as our classes are departmentalized
For Out-of-State or Non-Credentialed Applicants:

COMPENSATION – SALARY
For credentialed teachers, our 2024-25 salary scale ranges from $71,085 to $127,985, depending on your level of education and years of experience
For aspiring teachers who have yet to obtain their credentials or those currently enrolled in a credentialing program/intern-eligible, the 2024-25 salary range is between $62,316 and $63,866

What You Will Do:
- Establish a culture of high expectations that includes the shared belief that every student will attend college
- Develop and implement lesson plans and classroom activities aligned with California State Standards and Aspire Instructional Guidelines
- Assess students regularly and refine and differentiate classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs
- Communicate regularly with students and families and involve families as partners in their child’s education
- Identify unique student needs and collaborate with team members to effectively address those needs and improve instructional practices throughout the school
- Actively participate in professional development activities, and work closely with lead teachers, principal, and instructional coaches
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid Single Subject Social Science Credential required
- 1+ year working with students as a teacher, teacher intern, or teaching assistant preferred
- Knowledge of subject matter, including State Standards and subject-specific frameworks
- Knowledge of child cognitive development and various learning styles
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative student data
- Ability and willingness to reflect and improve instructional practices
