THE ROSE VENICE , located two blocks away from Venice Beach, is run by CHEF Ray Garcia whose menu focuses on Bold Californian cuisine.
We are currently looking to fill a BARTENDER position. Great opportunity for learning and

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of the guest
experience, service, operational effectiveness, employee retention and satisfaction.
• Maintain a bar program that is cohesive with the The Rose Venice beverage program
philosophy.
• Graciously assist guests in selection in recommendations for wine, cocktails, spirits,
and food menus.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow team members as situations arise to ensure
guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Learn and understand the menus, cocktails, and wine list, being attentive to changes
in the menu as well as meal composition.
• Perform all side work applicable to assigned stations.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal
inspection and by following the restaurant preventative maintenance programs.
Immediately communicate anything out of the ordinary to the manager.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep
the restaurant running smoothly.
• Introduce and inform the guests of the beverage menu format, describing the
cocktail lists and selections if needed.
• Attend all meetings as required for the position.
• Work collaboratively to maintain accurate pours and costs based on historical cost
percentages, sales and profits.
• All other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:
• Work schedule requires weekends, holidays, and late evenings.
• Shifts will range from 5-8 hours.

Bartender connects personally with offering guests a uniquely memorable experience and personalized service, collaborating in the development and promotion a winning bar program, engaging and building relationships with guests, establishing a well-run bar and bar routine, and thriving in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
· Must have full availability including weekends
· Previous bartending required, solid knowledge of beverages and current industry trends.
· Stylish and polished presentation.
· Solid experience with POS systems.
· Able to work late evening shifts and have flexibility in schedule including, weekends or holidays.
· Able to work extended shifts with long periods of standing/ walking/ lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
